Its tri-fold. Its super light weight. You must use your own hangers. There is only one pocket that I could find... But it got my tux to a wedding safeley, (hanging in the back of a car) It wont prevent all wrinkles, but it will cut down on them. This is an excellent daybag or handbag for travelers. The black color of course goes with everything. The bag is practically weightless when empty. Multiple pockets and compartments keep valuables and needed items organized and safe. Long strap allows for across-the-body carrying. I'm a LeSportSac addict but the backpack is my least favorite. The shoulder strap is too thin, which would make it uncomfortable eventually. I love the lightweight of LeSportSac fabric, but on a backpack, it doesn't work as well. There's no padding on the back; thus I don't trust to put my laptop or any electronic devices in there. I was thinking about getting it for my niece, but I think her books / notes / knick-knacks would poke her back when carrying it. The first thing I noticed is the quality; the fabric just feels good in your hands, and all of the seams seem strong and sturdy.
